First Flat

I raced in Ter Hand yesterday and got a pinch flat (hit a hole in a corner @ about 30 mph) with about 5 laps (18 in the race) to go. This would not have been so bad, but I was in a break wich would have guaranteed me a top top finish at least. No worries, there are many more races to come seeing as we race just about every other day.

Matt, I keep my cycling shoes next to my bed as a reminder that you are out there kicking but. I don't actually wear them...because I don't actually have a bike...(well...I do, but we won't talk about...let's just say it talks to me everyday when I ride to work!) I think it has a mind of its own. Anywhoooo...keep it up. You are amazing brutha! Miss you like homemade banana bread and sloppy joes! Mmmmm!

Love,
Pem

Matt,
Sounds like you're enjoying yourself there and racing well. The banana bread and cookies will be there soon.....just need to bake them!

Do you name your bikes? Just reading one of your old blogs and was really confused. I see Emily talks to her bikes. Interesting! I guess Andy and I are the only normal ones :)
